Abdullah Al-Muti is a pioneer in Bengali science writing. He writes about difficult scientific thoughts and theories in an easy way. Children and teenagers with small scientific knowledge will be able to understand science by reading his books.
He was born in Sirajgonj, Bengal. He was a top-level student who finished his B.Sc and M.Sc. in Physics standing first class first. Later, he finished his PhD from the University of Chicago, Illinois in 1962.
He wrote 27 books on science and other topics. Some of his famous books are “Abiskarer Neshay”, “Obak Prithibi”, “Sagorer Rohosshopuri”, “Jana-Ojanar Deshe” etc. He won the UNESCO Kalinga prize as the second Bangladeshi writer.
